Four people were killed and five others wounded after a suspect entered a bar in Kansas City, Kansas early Sunday and started shooting, police said.
Nine total people were shot, said Thomas Tomasic of Kansas City police. No suspect is in custody, he added.
Police had responded to the incident overnight on 10th & Central Avenue. They said later that the shooting appeared to be an isolated incident.
The weapon that was used was a handgun, police said.
Agents from Kansas City's Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) said they were responding to the shooting later Sunday morning.
