Tonight's moon will be full, and tomorrow morning, Feb. 19, around 1:00 a.m. it will be the closest to Earth it will get for all of 2019.

It’s February’s ‘Full Snow Supermoon’ and, according to the Farmers' Almanac, it will be the largest full moon of the year.

With the last ‘Super Blood Wolf Moon’ happening less than a month ago, many may ask: what’s so special about this supermoon?

The February ‘Snow Supermoon’ will appear up to 14% larger than a typical full moon and 30% brighter.

On Feb. 19 at 1:00 a.m. the moon will reach its closest point to the earth, which is called perigee.

Stargazers should keep their cameras ready Monday night, as it will appear full, through Tuesday as the supermoon reaches its peak just before 8:00 a.m.
